WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO ASSIST WITH ADMIN, RESERVATIONS, AND MANAGEMENT


We’re looking for someone to assist with admin, reservations, and management of the other staff in our small family owned guest house based in the Fourways area.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is not a necessary, but not everyone is cut out for the industry.
The individual needs to a respectful, punctual trustworthy, bubbly, peoples person with good mannerisms and sober habits. They need to have excellent personal hygiene and have a good understanding of general hygiene. Be well groomed always wear a smile be eager to please the guests.
They need to be neat and tidy (OCD’s welcome) and have a good eye for attention to detail. Be able to work diligently without supervision and not procrastinate. They need to have excellent time management skills.
Its not a stressful position if you are able to stay on top of things.
They need to be able to speak, as well as compose and communicate professionally over whatsapp in English and Afrikaans.
Computer literature is a must, as well as knowing how to use MS Word and MS Excel. Typing at a moderate speed is necessary.

Good physical health and mobility is necessary as it involves walking around to oversee the duties of the other staff members and climbing a flight of stairs.
The position does involve working every second weekend and some public holidays.
Reliable transportation is necessary. Own transportation is preferred.
Remuneration is not the greatest, so ideally this position is for someone in the beginning stages of their working career or someone looking at slowing down.
