The Stores Assistant will assist the Procurement Officer and perform the
following tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to interact and communicate
with others; operate well within a team; give high priority to internal
customer satisfaction; acquire and apply new job-related information.
Below is a summary of the duties:
· Issue, receive, receipt and pack stock and maintain
filing of same
· Take samples of all Chemicals received
· Carries out various stocktaking/stock checks
activities (Daily, Weekly and Full count)
· Issue stock to Internal customers and capture all SRN
Issues on ERP system daily
· Keep an accurate record of stock levels and inform
Procurement Officer of all low levels for repurchase.
· Attends to administrative duties including excel
spreadsheet, filing and following up of Material return notes
· Communicate with different departments for all
non-stock items received

Qualifications and
Experience:
- Matric
- Diploma/Certificate in Stores-Keeping
advantageous - SHE procedures relevant to the
stores - Computer Knowledge essential
(Microsoft Office / Sage Acc Pac) - Experience in a manufacturing
environment will be advantageous - Forklift Licence
- Drivers Licence
