PAYROLL & HR ADMINISTRATOR

– Kew, Johannesburg

1) Responsibilities

  • Full function payroll which includes but are not limited to capturing hours, earnings, deductions, new engagements and terminations;
  • Payroll, month-end and ad hoc reports;
  • Employee leave admin;
  • Maintaining employee records and filles;
  • Deal with pay queries from HR and other departments in a timely manner;
  • Provide clear and accurate payroll and HR administrative support;
  • Ensure all aspects of the payroll process are met within payroll timelines, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by Management;
  • Statutory returns – EMP501, ROE
  • Assisting HR with annual and quarterly reporting – EE, WSP, B-BBEE, STATS SA
  • Administration of Retirement fund and Medical aid

2) Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Payroll
  • 3-5 years in a similar role
  • Sage Payroll or similar payroll software essential
  • Time and attendance software e.g., Jarrison Time
  • Microsoft Office – Intermediate to Advanced essential
  • SARS Easy File and E-Filing
  • LRA and BCEA knowledge advantageous

3) Remuneration:

  • R180 000 PA
